 HELP!!!! DISCO EMERGENCY I can not remember the name of the song or the singer. But it was a disco number one hit and the singer from remembering pictures is a black woman with a simple afro. The song was about her daughter and her daughter is now on the cast of Mad Tv. The singer died I believe and I can't remember her or the song. The song was featured on one of those Vh1 top 100 polls. This lady was known for hitting this amazing high note.  |

| Well, Minnie Rippertons classic ballad "Lovin' You" instantly comes to mind. That one is famous for her hitting very high notes and since she passed away many years ago it may be her you're looking for |
