Don't You Want Me

All you retro 80's fans attention- I recently heard a cover of Human league's Dont You Want Me, but it was a downtempo, funky slightly dark instrumental, and I think i have it somewhere in my collection, but I can't place the artist, or suspect it may even have a slightly different title. It could be the 80's or even later- I know you guys can help!

I had my haircut yesterday and the salon [OK, it was Super Cuts in West Hollywood!!] was playing a modern mix of club stuff that included a sample of Human League's "Don't You Want Me"....it was the instrumental sample of the synths and then several minutes into it a line of the lyrics from the song was sung by Philp Oakey...and I don't think it was the title refrain.....but it has been sampled on something recent.

Then there was that totally instrumental LP version of the whole Human League LP titled "Love And Dancing" ... remixed and produced by Martin Rushent.....black cover credited to The LEAGUE Unlimited Orchestra...that was played a lot back in the day
