Trying to find an old song from the 90s

Hello to eveyone. I am looking for an old song which appeared on MTV about 10 years ago. I don't know the title nor the band. I only remember the plot. It was about a man who was dressed like Robin Hood all in green. He was walking on a green field and while he was walking he saw an old man who looked like Merlin the wizard with a long beard. The old man had something on both of his hands. Then he extended them to the so called "Robin Hood" and he told him to make a choise. Then "Robin Hood" showed with his fingers first the one object then the other and then something happened. That is all I remember about the song. I have been trying to find it but with no luck so I decided to post it here hoping that someone would know. Please If anyone knows the song I'd be very grateful. Thanks. Oh and one last thing I think the main character was wearing both tights and a pointy hat.

Thanks for the reply. I will hear the song you suggested but I'm not sure if it is the one because it's very old. I saw that it was the main theme from the tv series Robin of Sherwood which was in 1984. As I have said the guy was dressed like robin hood. I didn't say he was. The plot as I remember took place in a weird location. It looked like in the woods but in a clearing. The trees and plants appeared fake. The song I think was alternative or electronic, I can't quite remember which. I remember that the whole place reminded me of Robin Hood, not the movie but the books. The pictures in the video appear as if they were taken from a colored book just like the movie Alice in Wonderland when Alice steps in the rabbit hole and is taken to a magic world. If someone has seen the videoclip and knows the song please let me know.

Men without Hats did a song called "The Safety Dance" and If remember correctly it had sort of a Robin Hood type of theme.
