Can anyone figure this one out?

I am trying to figure out the name and artist of a classic disco song from around 1978/1979. I don't have a recording of the song so all I have to go by are the lyrics that are in my head.

Some of the lyrics include:

"there's a feelin' inside of me, I lose control...."

and the chorus includes:

"Let's get happy, everybody's ready......." and

"It makes me wanna shout about it"

I know this isn't much to go on but any help would be greatly appreciated!

Wild guess. Your lyrics made me think of "Hot Leather" by The Passengers.

Just a lucky guess. This was one of those songs that folks were always looking for at Aloha. Uusually the clue was "Gonna Take A Ride To The Sun". Most people thought that was the title. I'll nevah forget it!!!! :lol:
