Smile Fire Island Pavillion 1987,1989

I worked there those seasons at the Pavillion and there is one song I cannot find searching the Internet. I remember the chorus as being "Aint nothin' but a Heartache", but I can't remember anything else. I remember I loved that song, but my mind is blank after that (too much partying, I guess, lol). Anyway, the song by the Freemason is not it. Please help me find the right song.

Also, the Freemason have a song that is the teasing beginning to another loved song I cannot find the original of "Love on my Mind."

Another song I could not find, but just did after years of looking is "Saving Myself" by Eria Fachin. I thought name was "Sitting alone by the telephone." Go Figure.

Email direct if possible: zeitlin@att.net

Thanks,

Bob

Cool Re: Fire Island Pavillion 1987,1989

Thanks for your reply, but it's not that song. It's not that easy. Oh and I found the second song out that the Freemason tease "This Time Baby,' by Jackie Moore.

The heartache song I never heard anywhere else but on Fire Island. I bet Michael Fierman would know.

It's the same summer as Saving Myself.

Sounds like 'Nothing But a Heartache' by C C Catch.

I tried that one too. Unless she made 2 really different versions, it didn't sound like it. Maybe my chorus is wrong and it's completely different wording, but I don't think so. Keep trying.

Reminds me of a really good porn I saw once and wrote down the Title and
Studio, then lost the piece of paper, trying to find the movie from 3 keywords I remembered about 3 different movies I had on that paper, lol. Searched every possible combination of Title and Studios and never saw it again.

Is there any way to get a DJ's playlist for those years?

Mr. Pulse sent me that song.

I'm sad to say that wasn't it, darn it. Unless I can get my time machine working, I'm not sure I will ever find it. It was a kick-ass song in 1987 at the Hottest Fire Island Discotheque. There was a Hot girl name Alex bartending if anyone remembers.
