| Hellooooo ya all disco doctors! once again i need your help.... my mental health is in danger!!! but this time i have not many clues to identify it. I was in my lockin' class (yes, i'm takin some dancing lessons cause i can't dance hahahaha) and the teacher played a pretty discofunk track! it was some early 80s stuff... i'd say 80 or maybe 81! it was singed by a male...a young one!!! and the only lyrics i can remember is the first line of the chorus when he says "SE-XY LA-DAY idontrememberwhatmore" and then some violins and a nice groove with bass or syntes that made us dance! and right after that he told somethin about "like the way you groove" or about the dancefloor....hmmmmm the strongest thing i remember is that SE XY LA DY (with emphasis in those syllables) and the violins (tere tererereee) + bass groove the vibe was like positive shalamar tracks but not exactly that Solar formula which is easy to recognize (the voice was also similar), and the groove was smooth. THANX in advance just for reading! i know i haven't done the best description |
