2wo 'pimped out' samples (?)

Hi guys. The other day I was listening to these two rap songs....

Snoop Dogg - Ain't Nothing But A G Thing
Ice T - You Played Yourself

If you know these songs well, can you tell me what the samples they used were?

Funny thing, I saw the movie 'American Pimp' on the IFC network and I heard these sampled songs played in it, and at the end when the music credits rolled down I missed them! Should've had my VCR ready for that one huh?

Ice T - You Played Yourself samples James Brown's "The Boss", from the "Black Caesar" soundtrack.

In the Snoop Dogg track, I suppose you're referring to the bassline? No clue there, although if it is a sample, I'd like to know what it is as well...

OK I got the JB track earlier from a friend. Still waiting on Snoop's sample. Thanx KC, we'll keep on trying.

I tried going to www.the-breaks.com, AKA The (Rap) Sample FAQ, but had no such luck.
