here's five more from the B-side of the tape. I had a hard time making out the words for the first two songs so I posted clips of those at http://www.spiritofradio.ca/SongSearch.asp under the name Lorne Goldblum. The first two songs my lyrics will be sketchy and full of mistakes but bare with me. 1: female vocalist possible title "Anytime Or Place" Lyrics: Under the moon I see the silver thread (maybe dread) on your riddled head every sign to keep it all away down to the river we're closer (something) got to let it pass let you love, my wish could last forever Chorus: anytime or place you've been standing right in front of the love anytime or place you've been making me surreal 2. woman vocalist possible title "Upside Down, Dizzy" backup singers in the intro singing "In the melody" 6X La la la la lala 4X FV: starts off with French lyrics that I won't even try then goes into English I am not what you think I am but here we go again whatever you may think about me there was a twinkle in your eyes I think your eyes are faster, feel the love, love me life suround me More French lyrics Chorus: Upside down and dizzy that he makes me upside dow and dizzy but I"m okay (whole verse is repeated 2X and then again) 3. Female Group possible title "Girls Are Back In Town" Lyrics: Tell the boys we like passion we're back girls are back in town searching for a man for some wild action the girls are back in town hurry to me if you want perfection 4. Male vocalist possible title "Dream On" Lyrics: There's a space in your min there's a room you can use there's a place you can find there's a room you can use when you want to get away keep on keep on, baby can you feel it coming on put yourself into a dream set your body free (2X) dream on put yourself into a dream set your body free dream on 5. Female vocalist possible title "I'll Do Anything" could be Freda Payne Chorus: I'll do anything for you ooooooo anything you ask me I'll do Lyrics: never had anyone like you guess I'm nice to be close to nowyou got me begging for more begging for more never felt this good before when we touch I lose control ooooh you captured me body and soul I'm your to have and to hold baby Chorus Any help will be greatly appreciated Yetta

| # 1 looks like "Anytime or Place" by Azoto. # 5 might be Denroy Morgan, "I'll Do Anything for You" but I'm confused because you're saying it's a female. His lyrics are so garbled I don't think anyone could transcribe them.

Thanks Nicknack, It's not Morgan before I asked about the song I downloaded his song and it's not even close and it's a female lead singer. AMG has a listing for a Freda Payne doing a song entitled "I'll Do Anything For You" recorded in 1982 which is the right year. However I can't find it on Kaaza or Winmx to confirm it. I'll try to post a clip of it tomorrow at the CNFY site that I use since my web guy is away on vacation and I don't know how to change my web page. Thanks for the input of the other song. Yetta

i'm pretty sure that #3 is the Freda Payne version. Don't have my records here to confirm it though. #1 is indeed Anytime or Anyplace by Azoto #2 is Girls are Back In Town by Risque Steve

Srshives, thanks, I just posted a sound clip of what might be I'll do anything for you-Freda Payne at http://www.spiritofradio.ca/SongSearch.asp it should be at the top of the list if no-one else has posted since me. Also there is one other clip posted on the 4th from the same tape which I think is three from the top possible title upside down. Thanks again Yetta

There is a song called "Begging For More" by Monica Neal that I haven't actually heard, but did see written about in an old Billboard issue approximately 1981. I wonder if it could be the song you thought was Freda Payne.
