Default Witch Queen

Is anyone familiar with the songs on the Witch Queen album which was put out in 1979? Bang a Gong was on it, but was the Witch Queen song, the same as Witch Queen of New Orleans by Redbone which came out in 1971? View Images

I know Pulse already answered this... I'll just add that this is one of my all time favorites, if only for "Bang a gong", and "All right now": incredible nice and long intros; just incredible tracks as a whole...
If you're wondering whether to buy the album, and you like Gino Soccio/Peter Alves productions, hesitate no more!

As a matter of fact I do like Gino Soccio, particularly Dancer and Dance to Dance. I actually did buy this album approximately 27 years ago, and believe it or not, I have never played it, not even once (I currently don't own a turntable). I was familiar with the pop T. Rex version of Bang a Gong, thought it was OK, but was not in love with it.

I was listening to an oldies station that was playing Halloween oriented songs, and they played the redbone version of Witch Queen, and I thought, "damn, that could be made into an incredible disco song." ......You know, it is the most wonderful feeling, to discover another oldie from the late 70's that I could not remember, but love now, that will fit it in with my collection.
