does anyone know if the artist strange affair also had a song called "strange affair"? it sounds like it may have come out around the early 80s. i looked at the strange affair greatest hits but didn't notice it on there.

That track listing you read has a misprint. Track # 7 should read "Love Is a Strange Affair/Fantasy" (Medley).

thanks for pointing that out. but i dont even know if this song even has anything to do with this group (strange affair). all i know is that this song says "strange affair" and "we've got to turn it around" in it. it sounds like a slow funky song from the early 80s. is the song "Love Is a Strange Affair/Fantasy" the same one im referring to?

Doesn't sound like the one you're looking for. The Strange Affair lp keeps to the 'euro-disco' sound with the Philly musicians adding a little 'style'. Even with them, there is nothing "slow and funky" on the album. Sorry.
