| Exploring the deep depths of Disco usually brings me to very obscure regions. It's a hypnotic groove with a Bohannon-like voice singing what I understand as "Inside America" then some Atari sound is mixed in and we all have a party with an electronic version of "Hava Naguila", followed by horny horns. It's a MUSTHAVETHAT1! Vaulting the site on titles gave me this but....is it what I am looking for??? http://www.discomusic.com/records-more/7515_0_2_0_C/ I never heard of this guy! | Check out the 'Inside America Pt 2' track: Juggy Murray Jones Does it sound like this has the same arrangement? The hava naguila portion is only for a few bars (it's in the sound sample above) and that's it. That 12" is very expensive to hunt down. Just dig up the 45 if you really want Pt 2. Pt 1 and Pt 2 are actually 2 different songs, and they are presented as separate tracks on the LP. I don't own the 12" but my guess is that they edited Pt 2 into Pt 1, which is the only way you can bring the two parts together cleanly. I did that first before I discovered the edited version on Funky Jams 8 entitled "...Pt 2", even though it was both 1 and 2. I'm thinking it was the 12" version, which ironically matches up with the version I created in terms of where I joined the two parts. I'd compare the Juggy Murray Jones sound to Tommy Stewart. Kind of rough around the edges, but still with soul. Disco Funk |

| Yes Disco Funk it's that 1 + it's part 2 I was looking for indeed!!!! Thanks very much for the link and the info! What a great record But it seems to be on the Choice Collection CD by Frankie Knuckles too! Maybe that 1 is easier to track down! |

| It has fallen in price, Inside America rarely trades hands for over $50 these days. You should be able to catch this for $25-30ish if you keep your eyes open. Here's one, maybe it'll stay in your price range... JUGGY JONES | INSIDE AMERICA | DISCO FUNK 12" | LISTEN - (item 220135522229 end time Aug-06-07 09:47:08 PDT) |
