Default Mystery Song In "Thank God It's Friday"

In the film Thank God It's Friday, there is a song that is played when it cuts to the scene where the Leatherman is dancing with the blonde and those two teenybopper girls say Hi to him. While the song was playing, Marv Gomez says, "Only when I'm dancing do I know I'm alive. Only when I'm dancing do I feel free..." The song has a male voice that goes "Ayyyyyy Ayyyyyy" and then a "Whaaaaa" and then later on you hear some female voices singing "ooooh-uh ooooh-uh" (think Let's All Chant). This was not on the TGIF soundtrack album. Does anyone know the title and artist?

The song is "It's Serious", by Cameo.
