| Really nice track! Don't know who it is by, but it has a very Black urban funky sound so it can not be Rice Beans Orchestra. Now I need to find out who it is...

| yeah i know... its been haunting me for about 5 years now... i have a sneaking suspicion it may come from a sound library like chappell, kpm or dewolfe but this isnt based on anything.... the search continues |

any idea what year it's from? or at least within a 5 yr span? Where did you hear it, radio? mixtape? club? I guess at this point every little detail could be of some help.

| Man, that Z-share service crashes my FireFox session everytime Sorry but can't play your clip.. Edit:I was able to listen using IE instead, nice tune and the flute style sounds familiar, I checked a '76 Hubert Laws Lp but is not it. it is not on Eddie Drennon's second Lp either. | thanks for the replies, I got the track from a friend who collects disco music who in turn was given it on a cdr as an mp3 the mp3 had no information embedded which seemed a bit sus to me. the track did come with an artist and a title but i am pretty sure it isnt correct the title was micheal graham allenaka - serenity flutes free michael was spelt incorrectly and allenaka seems bogus i thought that the following would be most probable: michael graham allen aka (serenity flutes) - free michael graham allen is an anasazi flute maker and has released some new age/holistic type music the sound seems to me to be 1970-1975 but i could very well be wrong i contacted him directly a few years ago but he seemed to know nothing about the track and claimed he had never done anything like the track and was not active in the 70's with any kind of orchestra. maybe michael graham allenaka is a real person/group but there was no information that i could source on him perhaps someone else will have more luck. hope this helps Last edited by sageone; March 22nd, 2007 at 08:39 PM. |

It's not completly bogus..: Micheal Graham Allen aka "serenity flutes" free - Google Search The filingsystem don't allow ":" and are deleted automaticly The "..." are google edits. So you get : micheal graham allenaka serenity flutes free ... and now you're on you one... This may explain the (incorrect?) filename .. but not who/what is it .. sorry |
