 This is one of my faves...people thought it was Stevie Wonder...BUT it was Junior (Giscombe) from London. The American Remix of "Mama Used to Say" by Tee Scott is considered the definitive version; Released late 1981 on Mercury.

| And guess what? On Tuesday I hope to get my copy of this signed by.........Guy Barker, who played trumpet on the disc. He is now a world class jazz trumpeter and is appearing at Southampton jazz club. I wonder if he'll like being reminded of his involvement? |

| Junior As the person mentioned above quite rightly,it was of course 'Junior' and the song ' Mama used to say' (even Quinny knows that) :lol: (only joking mate!) :lol: Anyhow the song was a hit in the U.K charts back around 81/2 (top 10/20 i think?) and should still be fairly easy to get hold of! |
