A couple songs from around 1980

Hi everyone :

I was wondering if anyone can help me with artist and title of a couple more songs that I remember from around 1980. I remember the melodies but I'm a little unsure of the words . I haven't heard this songs since I heard them in a disco in 1980

One of the songs is sung by a female
In the lyrics is the line
"take a chance , would you like to dance" (followed by the chorus)
"You got me spinning ohhhhhhh, (chorus)
Spinning around and round"


The other song is sung by a female and has words something like: I may some of the words wrong on this one but this is how I remembered them.

Now it is the time when the love goes on
Come on baby let's get it on
Come on and touch me
Your passion's too much

Hold me close (chorus)
Squeeze me tight
Love me once
Love me tonight


P.S. Does anyone know of a CD compilation that has the Viola Wills song
"I Can't Stay Away From You" on it?

Thanks Shives and Normvolk . The first one is definately Spin-It by Sunbelt. I heard a sample of it and it's exactly what I was looking for. It's amazing how you can get that with such a few lyrics.

I'm hoping someone out there can identify the other song.

I'm also hoping someone can tell me if they know of any Cd compilation with Viola Wills "I can't stay away from you". I would love to hear that song again.

This sounds like the chorus to "LOVE ME TONIGHT" by FERN KINNEY.

Thank Giovanni and NickNack for your help. I'll try to checkout both these songs. It's really great to have a helping hand so you have a pretty good idea as to what to look for.
It's amazing how rare some of this music is. I thought the songs I was looking for were disco classics and would be easy to find.
