Too less disco. Too many requests from too few members. A post with link(s) and one single sentence like "whatz thiz?". I'm sorry, but I'm here (was here) of my own interest hoping I might help someone along the way, not to be at someones service.

Hi Anders,

I can understand where you are coming from as answering song IDs can sometimes be a thankless effort, but that is only by a very small minority. Whenever I see a laundry list of links or a snappy request or the same person who never really thanks anyone, then I don't bother. However, the majority are genuinely thankful that someone here has helped them solve in some cases a twenty year mystery and that makes many of us happy to help.

If you no longer wish to answer these song ID questions then that is fine, there are other categories on the forums to participate in and we look forward to you there.

Hopefully this serves as a wake-up call to some of the posters to be more mindful and respectful of other's help and time. Don't post a huge laundry list of links... A little thank you after someone helps them ID a song and not treating this as if we have to do this for you goes a long way.
