I have heard it a few times, but not sure by who. A female singer, probably late disco period. One of the line says "in a world with no blacks, jews, or gays."

Anyone?

Ooh, that's an easy one. It's "There But For The Grace Of God Go I" by Machine.

Default Machine - There But For The Grace Of God Go I

Hi there,

I'm not sure if you're even checking this anymore, but the song you're looking for is:

Machine - There But For The Grace Of God Go I

As far I know, there were at least two versions of it as far as lyrics. One says: " ... with no blacks, no jews, and no gays," -- the other says something like: " ... where only uncles and people play." Hope that helps.

Hey guys,

George has ears like ours! :D :D (Leanmean, are you reading this? :) )

"...where only uncles and people play" --- that's good! I bet you, like a lot of us, have DLS: Decibel Level Syndrome  . (I just made that up  ... must be getting hungry.)

Anyway, "where only upper class people stay" were the words used to make Machine's classic more radio-friendly.
