this is a really cheesey song that got on the aerobtics bandwagon. a woman vocalist and backup 1981 or prior. Starts off with a military drum roll.

Lyrics:
alright get ready we're gonna work that body
and reach 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
stretch 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
push 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
come on girls
every morning when we wake
to make up for that piece of cake
that we ate last night
so what do you do
we through our arms up in the air
one foot here and one foot there

Hi Yetta,
we already talked about this song here on the FORUM recently. It's WORK THAT BODY by Diana Ross, the last track from her first post-MOTOWN album, WHY DO FOOLS FALL IN LOVE, released by Capitol Records in 1981. The album has some great songs like MIRROR MIRROR and the cover of FRANKIE LYMON's WHY DO FOOLS... This song, WORK THAT BODY, is sometimes pointed as one of the lowest points in Diana's career.

zeca azevedo, let's get physical
