Please help with this Con Funk Shun track...

I'm aphalled for not being able to identify this one, from 1984 (around the same time as The Barkay's Sex-O-Matic). Sounds like Germaine Stewart but my old tape says it's by Con Funk Shun while no resembling title appears in their discography. Besides memory what am I missing???

I can't be of help but I can tell you that that is not confunction nor the barkays. that should help you narrow down your search.

Thanks for the reply. I guess this one turned out to be tougher than I had anticipated. As I write these lines, I remind myself that it (somewhat) sounds like the Commodores' Animal Instinct! Could be so many things.

Isn't it amazing to see the amount of stuff people dig out in these forums. Feels like the 10-year lifespan of the Disco era hatched an endless supply!
