I heard a song on the radio this weekend on a 70's Disco Night...here are the words of the chorus...
"come rain shine, no mind, we're ridin' on a groove train tonight"
Help me figure out who sang this song!!! Is it called "Groove Train"???

Do you mean "Groove Line" by Heatwave???

"We're riding on the groove line tonight"!!!

Sounds pretty similar and this was a big enough hit to be played on the radio.

Hey--thanks for the response! I'm not sure if they're saying "line" or "train" maybe you're right.

That's definitely it TSK; 'Groove line' by Heatwave released in '78 on an LP entitled 'Central Heating'. Also released on 12" single as an extended remix.
