Who sings 'I've got the music in me'?

I'm wondering if anyone can help me on this one. I am desperate to find out who sings "I've got the music in me". It's regularly played out at the Guilty Pleasures club nights in London, and it's definitely a disco anthem!
It's becoming a most desperate search!!

Kiki Dee is the original singer.

There is a new version out but I have not heard it yet.

Could it be The Boogie Pimps? Or "someone versus Kiki Dee"?

Yes Kiki Dee recorded it first in 74' on Rocket, Elton John's label. The Boogie Pimps version came out recently.Two other versions are Mighty Clouds Of Joy on the "Mighty High" lp and my favourite Thelma Houston.The Thelma version is hard to find it was out in the 80's on a small label called Sheffield Labs. I've been looking for a copy for years .Two months ago while on a music download site there it was.

Erin Hamilton (Carol Burnett's daughter) did a dance cover of it back in 2001 as well.
