Default songs with no name. . .on cassette

I listened to a late 70's cassette I personally recorded while DJing, and its totally remarkable that even though I remembered alot from back then. . .I also totally forgot some cuts, both name and artist! Total blackout! Its scary. The cassette hit me over the head. MY NAME IS CHARLIE 12", GIRLS ARE BACK IN TOWN 12", SHOW ME YOURS, I'LL SHOW YOU MINE, HOLLYWOOD HOT, and a couple of songs that sound like DONT TURN YOUR LOVE, BABY (female soul). .and a group song "Can you move, can you move. . can you shake your body to the latin groove." Dont know who did any of those, or if the titles are even correct exactly. Robert. Another was an EL CORRIDO disco. . .something like EL QUE SE TAL.

Laser - His name is Charlie
Risque - The Girls are back in Town
San - Show Mw

11th Hour - Hollywoood Hot ( I don't believe that is the song you are referencing. It doesn't fit in with the rest).

Gibson brothers: Que Sera mi vida???????

:p:pI guess I'm not the only one :p the same thing happens to me :-o

One way to shake my memory is to go over to Gemm and type in what you think is the title, very rarely you won’t find it there, as you go through the many different results from all types of music I usually guess the artist, either by the year of release, Label or by suddenly identifying the artist’s name, then I use the results to find the records in the alphabetized portion of my collection.

that is soooooo. . . .IT. The song utilizes a great echoing effect and even resorts to skat lyrics. Great bass intro, breaks, and vocals. wish I still had it on 12", but at least its on tape. woww.
hey I just found it on amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/gp/product

Thanks so much. . .this was it, and would have never guessed. I definitely would have passed on "Disco Jeopardy" if there is such a thing. Found it on discosavvy.com 1979 chart, which led me to believe you were right on the money. Then went to Amazon and found song sample under "Rythmo Tropical Classics, Vol. 2 [IMPORT].
Incredible latin disco song that was very popular when I DJ'd back then, and one hispanic patron would respond by jokingly requesting any corrido songs.
Thanks!!!
