| Paul Hardcastle did a remix of "You're the one for me" in 1984, mixing it with Daybreak-AM (which he composed himself). This track was released on 12" and can also be found on the compilation CD "Best of Gold, 8 Dance Greats Volume 16", released by Old Gold Discs and Tapes in 1991 (a UK label, the whole series comprises I believe 17 CD's which are all worth having).

As already stated, it is the 5.09 lp version you are looking for. You can get it on a 3 CD box called 'Absolutely....The very best of Prelude Records' UK cat no; DEEPBOX 1. Not sure if ots still availible but certainly worth looking for.

This CD has become a 'holy grail' for me. Still looking for a copy and still no joy. BTW: As posted in another thread, Paul Hardcastle went on to do the 'labour of love' mix in 1985....for me the very best mix of the track. This was in addition to the Daybreak/AM re-working.

Quinny, I must admit I bought it years ago, but it has to be around some 2nd hand shop somewhere, possibly Pompey or Brighton? I'm going to Exeter then London soon, I'll nose around there.

Davicillo: That would be absolutely great. It came out before I got into putting a collection of Disco stuff on CDs together.
