Default Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo - Very Unknown music from film

I understand that this forum is used mainly to find disco songs (I would know) but you guys are my last hope to identifing this song. I know it's from the 80's and it's in the film Breakin' 2. This song is played twice in the film. The sample below is 2 minutes long and is a combo of both times it is used in the film.

Good Luck and Thanks!!!

Was there a soundtrack album released for this film? Perhaps its on there. Also, the end credits on the film are a good place to find info on songs in the movie. To my ears, it sounds like music composed specifically for the film.

It really sounds like Ollie & Jerry, but I can't confirm it as I don't know their two tracks featured in the original soundtrack.

But they are very likely to be the ones.

Well it's definetely not Ollie & Jerry's "Electric Boogaloo". I have the 12" of that and it sounds nothing like this one. We can rule out Carol Lynn Townes, Ice T and George Kranz as well.

This clip has an early Prince/Minneapolis sound to it. It does feel like an instrumental version of a vocal track too. I like it :)

I know it's not Oye Mamacita, I Believe in the Beat, Din Dah Dah, I Don't Wanna Come Down, Radiotron, Electric Boogaloo, Combat, Stylin, Profilin since I've heard these already on tape or LP. This leaves "Stylin, Profilin", "When I CU", "Set It Out", "Do Your Thang", plus "Jamin' In Manhattan", "High Tension", "Spice", and "Physical Clash" (This is probably the one but I haven't heard it on any medium . . .).

Physical Clash is on the b-side of My Ollie & Jerry 12". Haven't listened to that one for ages so I'll have to get back to you on that one. I didn't mention it cause I didn't know it was featured in the movie.

Thanks,

i just checked the s/t LP and it's not on it. it sounds like all the other Ollie & Jerry and Firefox tracks on the soundtrack, so i think it's also produced by the same guy Ollie Brown.

personally my guess is that it's unreleased, and it only sounds familiar to us because the main synth melody is "borrowed" from another 80's song that i can't remember now...

I just managed to get a 7inch of "Ollie & Jerry - Physical Clash". Even though I kinda believed K-Bee, I had to check for myself. Nope it isn't Physical Clash. I was hoping it was. The last songs I need to check are:

Satisfaction - Do Your Thing
Afrika Islam - Go Off
J D Nicholas - High Tension
James Tyzik - Jamin in Manhattan
Ollie & Jerry - Spice
Younger Half Band - Latin Band
Ollie & Jerry - Do Your Own Thing

If anybody has listened to any of these songs from Breakin' 2 please post the information. This "unknown" song is driving me nuts . . .
