Hi there, these two should be pretty easy. Any help appreciated.

1. This is a woman singing. With a kind of call and response. It's a pretty famous song.

2. I'm sure I've got this one in my collection. It's been going round in my head but I can't remember what it is. Maybe the Brothers Johnson?

The first 2 lines are:

the second one could be
Earth Wind and Fire "September" but I forget
the exact words!

re #2. No it's definitely not "September". Although I can see where you would have got that from. The "do you remember" bit is quite a different tune.

It almost sounds like By all means and "Do you remember" on Island records from 1991. It's real soulful and midtempo yet quite obscure.
