Bold, italic, etc are still there, they're just hidden... go to your user CP, then to Edit Options, and then at the bottom to Miscellaneous Options, change it from Basic Editor to either Standard Editor or Enhanced Interface.

Or just get the Firefox extension that allows you to do it with a right-click. :)

Marky, it's really simple.

Go to:-User CP

Then:- Settings and Options

Then:- Edit Options

Then:- to the bottom of the right block-scroll to "Message Editor Interface" and change that one to: Enhanced Interface-Full WYSIWYG Editing.

Then, when you make a reply, you will see a little screen in the replybox, where you can choose your fonts/colors/smileys.

You'll discover that the new board has much more possibilities than the old 1!

Good luck!:-)

Marky, no you don't need IE for this. I switched to Firefox a long time ago and all the options work!!!

R U sure you're following the right steps. BTW, you can also upload your own Avatar now.

I forgot 1 thing. After you followed all these steps you have to click "Save Changes" and then it should work on Firefox.

What I didn't understand is where the "User CP" thing was...I was trying to go to the EDIT options on the Control panel of my computer, hence my confusion...if someone had only said it's right above where you are typing, it might have registered.....I know nothing about how this stuff works....I just just point & click.

Now I'm wondering about this 'REPUTATION' & "RATING" stuff---how is this stuff being entered?:o:roll:...and from whom??? If someone says something about you-how do you know who said it?:o
