Jun 29, 2011 | 8:12 amgreat disco to go to on a monday night when i just danced my butt off sat, and sun. this disco was always the place to be monday nights because the disco music mix, got you going big time and the decor-lighting was fantastic. the girls were on fire and ready for the boys to cool them down by dancing the night away to the wee hours of the morning. who cared about getting up for work in a few hours, you just wanted to enjoy yourself to the fullest and i certainly did. whow im getting a flash back writing this now. dame whis i could turn back time. GREAT MEMORIES!!!

Apr 19, 2011 | 7:41 amMy wife and I were had our wedding reception there in September of 1969. It was a place best described by words like elegant, romantic and of course, beautiful. It was a wondrous place to celebrate our marraige. Wish it was still there.

Nov 04, 2005 | 3:31 pmRipples was a great club--you felt it as soon as you walked in--great music & beautiful girls. I couldn't wait for my girlfriend to leave so I could criuse! Everyone wore white after getting sunburned all weekend. By the way, it was under the Throgs Neck Bridge, not the Whitestone!

Oct 15, 2003 | 7:07 pmThis was the place to go on Monday nights if one wanted to go out. I remember graduating from High School on a Monday, (Long Island City , HS) The summer was the best as you were right on the water under the Whitestone Bridge!

I was married there in 1980....I'm still married!!! Remember having dinner there on the weekends in late 1970s. Wish I could find pictures of the place on-line. Oh well, at least I still have my wedding album.
