Dec 27, 2009 | 4:37 pmI saw Steve Perricone who I bought LaPlage from in Miami. He owns the famous Perricone Market. I may be opening a new club in Springfield Mass. Working on the theme and management now. Name will be Hill Billys a country dance club.
Paul Monte my Partner is Running Gurneys Inn in Montauk NY.

Sad but very true. The late 70's and 80 were the best times. Club's galore. Now days kids just want to hook up online and never go out or even leave the house. Very sad. Yea opening a new club would not work. They are closing up left and right.

i think the days of the clubs we remember are over . the kid now a days don't now how to have a good time. so opening a new club a getting the kind of people is not going to happen. but if you open one good luck.

The place with the race car was LeMans in Southampton. I think back of the days when I opened my first little pub/disco PD's lounge with Pete Esposito.Then came The directors Seat, Isadoras,Club Martinique(That was 10,000SF and my biggest) Daddios,Crunch,Field Club in Va, and so on>> 11 clubs later my last was Champs in Danbury CT.I wouldnt mind opening one more. can anyone remember the name of the club that had a race car or some kind of car theme. i think it was in hampton bays but i can not remember it was a long time ago.

can not remember the year but i do remember going to the club geting kick out climbing over the fence and landing on a outside bar.

I went there in the summer of 78 with 4 friends. We drove from Brooklyn to the Hamptons went to the club and then slept on the beach. We were attacked by stray dogs on the beach at 4 AM.

I was lucky enough to own this club from 85 to 92. We had the very best dj's including JT,corsi,and others. I hope to hear from some old friends
