Docks home of DJ Hippie Torrales. Later Frankie replaced Hippie when Hippie went to Zanzibar. Naeem Johnson replaced Frankie when Docks moved to Club Sensations on Thursday nights till Hippie came back and was the Dj again.
What about Club New Experience before the name was changed to Club Sensations. Junie was at the door. Getting there early and getting your spot in front of the mirror to tighten up your skills...Tommy was spinnin on Friday night.
Hell to the yea. Best show I saw there was KRS-ONE. He tore it up!
I went to elementary school with Naeem Johnson...

Some of my favorite club memories were in what was known as club "New Experience" Junie at the door. Lee or his brother (can't think of his name) at the pay booth. Goin downstairs to see Kim for a "Long Island Iced Tea" for a quick buzz before heading upstairs. I remember Lenny (spoony g) or little junnie at the coat check, then heading towards the dance floor and lookin up in the dj booth to see what female Tommy was showcasing for the night-LOL ! I hate that I missed the reunion party. If any one from back in the day attended, let me know.
I'm coming home the end of June. I hope there's a party goin' on.
