Big Daddi's Disco

I used to tend bar there from 80 to 84, when I was shot twice in that little hallway. The guy who did it git 4 years in prison. Digger used to work at Casey's after that...and somewhere in NM or NMB. I think it was at x-fin ed newmans old bar on 135 st. Anybody remember?

I always went on holidays to Miami from England and went to Big Daddy's then it changed to Flanigans and then to Mardi Gras. My friends and I loved it. loved Ladies night on Tuesdays!!!!!! We also went to liquid gold on Biscayne Blvd. HAPPY DAY'S :-)

this is the club at the corner of Hallandale Bch Blv and US1 in Hallandale.went there after the clubs in Lauderdale would closed down and party the rest of the night.When we got kicked out at 5 or 6 am we would go to Hollywood beach watch the sun rise eat breakfast at Sambo's go home to sleep it off Ohh what memories.

Hallandale Beach Big Daddys...bartender was "digger"... Worked for a local constabulary and went there after work...all of us...where Digger took care of us until 6AM or so...then to Dennys and off to bed LOL

It was 1978 and my ship HMS Birmingham was in town. A cop i met called Melvin took me to what i believe was an all black club called Big Daddys. On that night, a soul group called Sweet Thunder played. The dj was a cousin of Melvin's.

I remember a Big Daddy's on 163rd Street & Biscayne Blvd. in North Miami and the club was called "Speak Easys". I used to go there with friends and then off to Tiffany's and JT's Disco in Sunny Isles.

There is a BIG DADDY'S in the CoConut Grove section of Miami. I believe there is also a BIG DADDY'S on Duvall Street in Key West. I suppose there are others(Tampa, Orlando?) but I don't know where. Sorry. I can tell you that the Coconut Grove location serves up some mighty fine RIBS!!

I visited Sarasota, Florida in the summer of 1974. Ohhhh, what a time we had every night at Big Daddy's in Sarasota. I remember that they had discounted drinks every night from like 7-9:00 PM. Did some heavy duty drinking, the drinking age was lower then also, so I had a great time, met lots of wealthy, interesting people. Is Big Daddy's still around?

hey there Patty, I use to work for big Daddy's in miami springs, mark use to be one of the managers that worded there those years, I was a dj there for a while.

I grew up in Miami, and I worked for Big Daddy's bars as a waitress/bartender. I remember some great times working there and partying there too!

is this the big daddy's in 163 or 135 street, 163 the dj was Ralph and 135th was his cousin Pepe, whom I went to his wedding and he was drunk for it.
