CLUB DETAILS, MEMORIES, YEARS IN OPERATION & TECHNICAL DETAILS
In Tulsa's early disco days, this was the place to be!

It featured a circular bar with twelve Zodiac signs in the front of the building, the dance floor in the middle, and a fake "hotel" in the back, complete with rooms no one would dare sleep in. This was done to satisfy the peculiar drinking and dancing laws in Oklahoma at the time.

Painted in dark blue, with dark blue carpet, it had aquariums installed in the walls....the fish died frequently from drugs dropped into their tanks when police raids occured.

The sound booth was up high, and consisted of a home-made mixer (none were really commercially available yet), two turntables, and a pair of headphones. 45s were the usual type of record played, mixed back-to-back.

The light show was a "chase" light with red, white and blue bulbs (this was 1976, the Bi-Centennial year) and mirror ball and downlights of various colors on rheostats.

This club was put out of business by the Queen of Hearts Club.
