I remember seeing the unveiling of Michael Jackson's Thriller video one night at Eclipse, or was it already Phase II? They dropped a big video screen and everyone just stopped whatever they were doing and watched in amazement. We had a lot of good times there back in the day.

I installed the upgraded sound system and installed the video system in the last year of Eclipse, before changing its name to Phase 1, we put in all of the vide monitors, camera, etc upstairs and downstairs and introduced Steve Paled to the Video Dance era, we brought in videos from Rockamerica and Telergenics at the time - and the DJ would trade off with the VJ paying music - it was a great time, I did a lot of crazy thing at the club, hing out with Denny Terrio one night - I use to go every weekend to the club for two thing, have fun and collect money for the work we did - the same people showed for cash every friday night did work at the club.

Stev opaled and had a great relationship - he wqs a really fun guy with lotys of ideas at the time, we built some amazing thing at that club to enetertain the gusets. Then one day he said - we are converting to a strip club and we helped to buld Goldfingers.

I came accr0oss this site today as I was thinking of Steve, and Mike and hiz crazy brother, and Rocco the DJ - I have lots of video of ametuer stip night, wet tshart contests, and other peformers at the club - where id everyone that used to hang out there - where is Steve Paled?

While not a great club, it had enough women to make a man cry. The DJ wasn't too good, its sound system was mediocre, but because of the fine women available, it gets a 7 on my scale from 1 to 10.

Eclipse! I remember Eclipse!! It's now Goldfingers strip bar. Those black curtains around the dance floor were great - when they would just suddenly shut!!

Great place to hangout. Kickin' sound system and lights.

Loved this place! When I didn't feel like going into the city, I'd stop by Eclipse. At a particular moment in the night, they'd turn off the dance floor lights, close the curtains, then strobe the hell out tge place! It was awesome. Saw France Joli perform there - by then she was a little chunky, but still had those awesome pipes!
