Oct 11, 2011 | 4:01 pmLoved this place & all those pool tables!! Had my 24th surprise bday party there...amazing! Went through the garage to Jasons! Remember Flicks, the Mirage, Kix & Zeldas!!! Then to Aegean Fare after they all closed, for a slouvaki sandwich & rice pilaf! Great times!
How come I can remember all that...but I can't remember yesterday??? (another good club! lol>

May 11, 2011 | 8:07 amYa, I do remember Margo and I think I do remember him.
-
May 11, 2011 | 7:58 amHe was probably around 5'8", 150 lbs. He had brown hair in a mullet style with a bushy moustache. I also believe he was dating one of the waitresses named Margo. They both worked at Swingers 2 in Framingham 1974-75.
My memory could be failing me, it was 35+ years ago.

May 11, 2011 | 5:52 amSorry I don't think I know him. Did he have a nick name or can you tell me what he looked like?
-
May 08, 2011 | 8:05 amWas there a bartender named Teddy Gates? I believe he went on to be the head bartender at Swingers for a short period.

Whimsy's Discotheque
176 Dartmouth Street
Boston MA 02116
Whimsy's Discotheque was right next door to the Copley Plaza Hotel in Copley Square. It was at the corner of Dartmouth Street and Stuart Street.
The Discotheque took up the hole first floor of the building that is a parking garage. I would think the Discotheque was 30 to 40 thousand square feet.
Whimsy's Discotheque had about 6-10 Rooms/clubs inside the club.
