Sep 12, 2009 | 9:02 pmA friend of ours who frequented this club in the mid 70's always tells us a story of her getting in and the place being raided , the club had a canal in the back and people would jump into the canal to get away from the police.
She says the music was great a mixed crowd, a place that was always fun.
This was a fun place and you're right. The police always raided this place. There was a canal on the back and the lobby was always full of people sitting on the sofa on Tuinals and Quaaludes.
