    Ralph,

I stayed with Tommy this past August as I make the trek to NY to visit my parents grave and I usually stay with Tommy for the week. I will tell him I have chatted with you.

Ralph, I remember you, but with shorter hair. Charlie Bailey, my closest friend back then, was the main DJ here for years. Vince Michaels played 1976-1977. I don't ever remember Steve Thompson playing there and I know Steve for many years. I played there on Thursday nights (the big 2 for1 night) in 1980-1981. Richard Viglione played there weekends in the 80's. Equus was my first gay club on Long Island (1976). At one time it was mobbed just about every night. I remember they had 3 for 1 on Monday nights (1977?) and there had to be 200 people on line right on Sunrise Highway.

I worked at Equus in 1979-81. Started out in the coat room then became a waiter. My Equus days were the best times of my life. An amazing place with some incredible people; Charlie, Dennis, David, Marty, Mickey .... just to name a few. I'd love to hear from people I knew from there.

My friend Mike and I were doormen at Equus. To many memories to list. Great people and music. Two for one was Thursday night. Such a huge part of LI's gay disco scene. Miss those pre-hiv days!

WOW!!!! So long ago. I think it was in Seaford. Went there when i was a kid and hooked up. Remember it like it was yesterday. Dident Lenny from Starz open up an Equus in Huntington village on the second floor?

Wow! Equus! My gay dance partner and I used to go there to practice our routines. All the "queens" used to critique and coach our moves. They were early versions of Len, Bruno and Carrie Ann!
