Greatest hang the beach ever knew. After an advertising awards night I was so wasted and happy I got on stage with Woody, He loved it because I got the crowd going instead of just oogling at woody. But I remember Woody's bodyguard and the clubs head bouncer "Richard" nicest guy...Plucked me from the stage and escorted me out rather bruskly I might add. The rest of the night was one to remember. etc...etc... Great memory, Terrible headache. Woody I am a big fan. jb

I was there opening night. The ticket was $20. The bar was clear glass block and backlit. I was told it was featured once on Miami Vice. They handed out huge swizzel sticks with cocktails, in the shape of palm trees, flamingod, and sailfish.

Bo Didley open with Woods. I remember they played off a four-inch riser and right next to whoever danced. It was a great party that night. Good drinks, people, and great music. Too bad it didn't last. DK
