DJ: Ed Scott
Brair Rabbit was a small club located off Route 4, just before reaching the George Washington Bridge. It was more a local hangout, without enormous crowds. Lots of local "Hotties" always made going there a pleasurable experience. They loved "outsiders", especially if you could dance, as it seems that the men who "hung out" there and were regulars there, didn't know how, or choose not to dance.
Brair Rabbit had a small dance floor, with a few spinning lights, a strobe light, and the obligatory Disco Ball. The music was the latest and the most popular. DJ's varied, but I knew that Ed Scott worked there among others. The sound system was simple, and standard. Two 1200's, a Bozak and two Peavey amplifiers. Not much to it. It was a very pleasant "Hole In The Wall" DISCO in the 70's. Eventually was torn down, along with many businesses to make the usual Condos.
