Hey Miami High crowd...hung out with my Key Club bros and sponsors a few times. The memories were few though as there weren't that many visits. I remember Leo and the good music and I remember just our group owning the dance floor the few times we went. Peace and keep writing. I am mostly on the Casanovas area as that is where I spent most of my disco days at.

Miami High Rules - 79-82, Little Women, Esprit Club and X-Club sweetheart! Do you remember the Principal Mr. Caputo and how he would chase everyone from the restaurant on the corner of Flaglerk - I got busted so many times skipping.

Anyway back to topic, I remember going to Cherries once on a date, but that's all I remember - too many years have gone by! :-)

I was a part of that Miami High crew. It was so much fun, and the deejay was Pete, he rocked. I followed him from club to club. He could mix!!

Cherrie's was located in the Green of Key Biscayne's Golf course, the original name was CHERRIE'S ON THE GREEN, then shortened to simply CHERRIE'S. Super Q's LEO VELA was the original deejay there, followed by Pete Denis and even Carlos Nodal!! There were many deejays, the place paid poorly, so there was a large turnover!! The owners were the Golf Course itself!! Nice place, great view of the Ocean, very romantic. On my scale from 1-10, it gets a 5.
