We set up a Facebook group for the 70's/80's crowd in my hometown of Louisville; it's grown to 360+ members and there was recently a reunion of sorts a couple of months ago. Perhaps a similar group for the L.A. crowd might work just as well to pull old friends together.

I also remember those West Hollywood bars, there was also Four Star and Cheers, whose names changed to something else. I remember waiting in line around the block to get into the ONE on Melrose, which later beame Santa Fe. Those were some fun days. It is sad when I think of so many those the guys then are not here now... Oh and Oil Can Harry's in Studio City just had their 40th anniversary last year. As I write this I'm listening to Marlena Shaw's "Touch Me In The Morning"..... I do miss those great days...

I moved to LA in 1975 and hung out at all those bars too. What fun we had!! I knew all the bartenders at the Blue Parrot and used to hang out there after hours with them. Do you guys remember Gregg's Blue Dot on Highland and One on Melrose? Dancing at Studio One and Probe. I wonder how many of us are left? I lost so many friends in the 80's and 90's.
