CLUB DETAILS, MEMORIES, YEARS IN OPERATION & TECHNICAL DETAILS
Rusty Nails was the Park-Bank Exchange's DJ for the first year... Jimmy Kawalek spun for the next six or seven years.

The Park Exchange had a small dance floor compared to the larger clubs like the I-Beam or Trocadero. The club was some what exclusive... Members only for the first year or so. If my memory is correct the annual membership was $200. Lots of Celebes and high profile athletes were of the norm. The club had one of the nicest environments, glass on three sides and roof. It was like partying in a fish bowl.

I remember going there on new years eve 1980, after having dinner at Ernie's an exclusive French restaurant on Montgomery st., of that era. I remember how crowded it was you could not even get to the dance floor. I remember the club manager(who's name I can't remember) he was such a sweet heart. I liked that they had a small dance floor on the main floor and another one even smaller on the second floor. There were windows all around the club.If you were one of the lucky ones you were able to enjoy a nice cocktail at a table by the window.
