Blossoms

Blossoms was the best !!! I was a cocktail waitress there when it first opened. I still remember having a designer come in and take all the girls measurements for our uniforms. We had no idea what we would be wearing. We started out with a bodysuit and skirt from Dansink in maroon.

I remember a white sequein outfit.....Where are all the girls from that time?

I worked on and off at Blossoms and also later when it changed over to Whispers. This was a Top notch club on Staten Island, and the hotel above made it even more of a destination.

Whispers was truly one of the best in the early 80s.
You could not beat it on Wednesday's & Friday's. I did alot of growing up in Whispers. What a club!

Blossoms was owned by my father joe,who later changed the club to Whispers.Not only were these two clubs the best staten island ever had,but my father will always be a legend for running the classiest clubs in the metropolitan area.

This disco was a great local place that you did not have to go into ny city..fab music for dancing dj scott i think ? the best miss it!
