Tracks DC was a huge gay club in Washington DC. Harold Hartmut Sadley was on a crew called Tracks International they would gut out the buldings that Marty would pick out and install everything in the club: sound lighting and interior for the club and even air conditioners and controls!

YOUR MEMORIES & COMMENTS ON Tracks DC
Trax was the 1st club I visited and I was addicted ever since! I went on Friday – wanna be straigt night where the sexy Latinos would come along with the Asians, blacks, whites, gays, straights, etc.
Saturday night and Sunday night. I would arrive when it was free (8pm) and be one of the last to leave around 4am.
This song “You Dance Too Much” ROCKED Sunday nights!!
I never heard of this site & I found it in a fruitless search for this amazing gospel house remix that has to be made from Shirley Caesar “Hold My Mule” song. I use to hear it in the 90’s on “black gay night” at other clubs in DC and I would hit the ground dancing!! The main line is “ __ __ __ ___, you dance too much” & they mixed in some hoop/holla/& shout keyboards.
Please tell me the name & DJ who mixed that song!?!
Thanks,
Sogwa

The team at Graebar designed and installed the sound systems for the Saint, 12 West, Trocadero Transfer, Probe and several other world class night clubs in the 1970s. Read it now...
