CD REVIEW & COLLECTOR NOTES

Club Floor Classics from Warner Brothers is a wonderful compilation of Disco tracks from the Warner music vault featuring the original 12" extended versions on most tracks. Even contains the impossible to get full version of Whistle Bump.

Warner Brothers has dug into their disco files from back in the day and pulled out ten tracks that are killers. At the time, many of the disco songs on the WB label were on its RFC subsidiary label. All cuts are full-length versions (although Love Deluxe's "Here Comes That Sound Again" is shortened to less than nine minutes to fit the CD's time limit; its original length was over sixteen minutes). Every song is a winner, especially "Found A Cure" by Ashford & Simpson and Venus Dobson's "Night Rider". Pick this baby up; it's a must-have!

Love this compilation! The top three tracks, in my opinion, are Madleen Kane's gorgeous "Forbidden Love"...along with the edited version of Love Deluxe's "Here Comes That Sound Again" and Gino Soccio's anthem classic "Dancer." It's 1979 all over again!

    Regards,

    Darick from Hawaii
