I just received my copy of this.I bought this for "Star Cruiser " by Gregg Diamond because I am obsessed with him and wish a best of had been released..but no,so I have to make do with what I can. But of equal importance is Kat Mandus "The Break" which is a disco must have,a pounding, orchestrated instrumental that is classy all the way.Tempest Trios "Love Machine" is a Coffey/Theodore production (Cj and Co/Mike Theodore Orch)that is funky and has some nice chanting ("I'm your love machine..."),Joe Thomas' "Platos Retreat" is sophisticated and funky "Lets all do the freak" sleazy but great..love it.Amant "If Theres Love" is sophisticated but in a different way, sorta dreamy quite fab.The Sunshine Band (yep,Kc fame) provide "Black Water Gold" a funk song that is a bit repetitive but good all the same.Margaret Reynold provides the title track (which comes in at 700 on the top 700 disco songs on this site) and it is groovy nice feel and vocals. I may be hated for this but from what i have heard so far, Boris Midney is so so, and I only half like the two offerings here Come Into My heart and Thats The Meaning...perhaps they will grow on me.The remaining are alright Odyssey by Johnny Harris doesnt do much for me,nor does Herman Kelly, Quartz is good I am sure I have heard it somewhere before but I cannot think where. Definitely a good buy though, my top 5 picks being 1.STARCRUISIN 2.THE BREAK 3.PLATOS RETREAT 4.LOVE MACHINE 5.GIRL YOU NEED A CHANGE OF MIND yeah forgot to write about that last one from Paul Lewis, its great .Good stuff from TK
