The roots of Disco can be found on Alright! Black American Dance Music From The Disco Era, an eye-opening new British CD compiled by Dean Rudland. It starts off with an unreleased track from 1979 by the Clark Sisters and winds its way throught the seventies and early eighties. If you are looking to dig deeper into quality music, then pick this one up. As with other Ace releases the remastering is top notch and taken from the analogue masters. I'd love to hear what else Ace has in their catalogue.
