I barely had the chance to take Volume 3 of Masterpiece out of the CD player when Vinyl Masterpiece and PTG Records sent DiscoMusic.com another volume in this excellent series. Now up to Volume 4 of The Ultimate Disco Funk Collection.

Still digging deep to bring fans of 1980s Disco-Funk some rare gems with many appearing on CD for the very first time. PTG's formula remains the same as previous releases: a well done compilation of extended and digitally re-mastered tracks that seem to elude many collectors because of their rarity and high price on vinyl now with clear sound on CD. As always highly recommended to anyone who wants the rare and hard to find Disco-Funk tracks from a great era in dance music.
