Vinyl Masterpiece and PTG Records were kind enough once again to send DiscoMusic.com their newest volume in the ongoing series called Nighttime Lovers. They are now up to volume four and have dug up more quality jams from the 1980s Disco-Funk scene that collectors are clamoring for.

The selection and sequencing of cuts on Night Time Lovers #4 is well done as is the overall sound quality which is crisp and clear with great bass extension. As with the previous editions you will be introduced to music you might not have heard before. Every song here with the exception of Dr. Slam by Men At Play is solid.

If your tastes run to the more obscure and/or urban funk 80s tracks that are overlooked by other compilations then this entire series is right up your alley and highly recommended.
