YOUR REVIEWS & COMMENTS

I don't quite agree with the above 'must have' comments. How can someone possibly state that this is the 'ultimate trip' if "Make that feeling come again' - one of Midney's very best tunes- is not even on this compilation....., while forgetable tunes from Companion and Double Discovery ARE included.

I think it's a fine comp. It's virtually impossible for any collection to include everyone's individual favorites; that's why I wish every compilation of this kind was accompanied by the original albums being released in their orginal form on CDs;; the compilation proves that SOMEONE has the original master recordings and could release them if they wanted to......

Even when the Disco Era has past a long time ago, it is totally wrong to ignore Boris Midney’s Extraordinary Avant-Garde and High Quality Productions. Mr. Midney’s Records set a trend on the music industry and remain as “CONNOISSEUR” Collectibles. Simply because they are SUPERB!

Being number one in the charts is not a real indicator of quality. Audiences are many times an ignorant and an uneducated crow. So judging art and music by the charts is all wrong.
On the other hand, for those of us that lived the High End and Upper Class Club scene in 1978 to 1980. Midney’s Sound reflects the supremacy and Exclusiveness, the elegance and High quality from the best Clubs. Undeniably, for those who belong to the “Radio and Charts Low class” This is totally ignored. They simply did not lived up to the standards of the time. Every time that I play this Vintage recording nowadays, the reaction of the people is amazing. They simply can’t believe it was done back in 1978. Boris Midney is an outstanding musician and Genius. Thank you Boris.
