What happened to Cherelle? She made some excellent albums but got out of the spotlights somehow.

I think Tabu records, which released albums by the Sos Band, Cherrelle and Alexander O'Neal, has gone out of business. I paid $1.00 for this album in the bargain bins and was blown away by the Janet Jackson-style opening track. It's viciously funky with an unforgettable lyric: "Ooh boy you look good to me, but looks aren't everything."
