Prince forbid the release of the "Black Album", ordered to destroy all the copies, because he was afraid that if he would die at that moment, people would remember him as a negative person.

The official version was that he had a relgious vision about it which could explain why the album "Lovesexy" is about positivity. During the concerts we also saw a Prince that almost got in trance while he was praying during "Anna Stesia".

The sound was very unusual and mechanical and it would stay that way during many following albums.

The DJ's did like the record but got berserk about the one-track album which made it very difficult to search and play a wanted song.
